Child Protection Multi Agency Learning and Development



The Multi Agency learning event held on 30th Nov 12 brought together 170 professionals, who work with children and young people across East Dunbartonshire. Together they look to explore current research into theory into practice in relation to 3 core themes. The core themes were Child and adolescent neglect, the changing role of technology and the internet, creating new risk potentials for children and young people, embrace and embed the GIRFEC principles as the foundation of practice within an all service provision and delivery for children and young people in East Dunbartonshire.

Forthcoming Inspection

The Care Inspectorate have advised us they will lead on a joint inspection of the provision of services to children in East Dunbartonshire, it is envisaged that this will take place phase 1 of the inspection may take place around late spring 2013.

The overall purpose of the inspection is to identify how well we work with our key partners across East Dunbartonshire to achieve the best outcomes for children and young people.
