This website provides information and advice to help.

  • In the website, you will be able to find information on what to do when concerned about a child, advice on when you might be worried about a child's safety and information on what might happen next.

  • You can also find information about local and national services. Professionals can find out about training and recent publications, as well as policies and forthcoming training events.

What is DCYPP?


East Dunbartonshire Delivering for Children and Young People Partnership (DCYPP), incorporating the Child Protection Committee is the key local body for developing and implementing child protection strategy across and between relevant agencies. The group membership includes representatives from statutory and voluntary agencies who work in partnership to help protect and deliver better outcomes for vulnerable children, young people and families. This strategic group has key responsibility for carrying out functions across 3 main areas:

  • Continuous improvement
  • Strategic planning
  • Public information and communication
